Aleksandra Saša Savanović was born in 1986, in Novi Sad, Yugoslavia. She studied International Relations at the Faculty of Political Sciences (University of Belgrade, Belgrade), and Sociology at the Institute for Sociology (Free University, Berlin). Her stories, essays and articles have appeared in electronic and printed magazines, periodic journals and several short stories collections. She is one of the editors of Zent – magazine for politics, technology and arts, and co-author of the recently publish book Zajednička dobra i granice kapitalizma (Commons and the boundaries of capitalism). Her first novel Deseti život (Life no.10) will be published this autumn. She works as freelance researcher and project manager in culture and the non-profit sector.
